3D printer manufacturer PioNext has added two new materials to its dental product portfolio: permanent crown resin and soft tissue starter kits.
The former was developed by orthodontists and aims to provide customers with a low-cost solution to meet the needs of the growing dental crown market. At the same time, PioNext’s starter kit enables users to create tailor-made resins, resulting in more accurate models and speeding up their implantation.
PioNext Dental Strategic Partners said: “3D printing improves the patient experience and enables dental laboratories and clinics to provide patients with higher quality, more reliable and affordable solutions.” “We are committed to innovating our products. , To provide the dental industry with the tools needed to operate at the forefront."

PioNext's dental 3D printing product portfolio
Although PioNext is based on its resins, it has also developed several biocompatible resins that can be used in the medical and dental fields. The company launched Dental SG material in 2021.
PioNext has further enhanced its ability to provide products to dental customers. In addition to the new machines, the company also introduced ten specialty polymers and new surgical guidance resins.
In the past year, these dental products have been supplemented by six clinical materials: PioNext’s resin and its biocompatible DJ machine. In a series of dental activities, its materials are used to 3D print various dental crowns in the Form 2 system.
PioNext, the company took another step forward, and announced the launch of its own proprietary resin series for permanent dental restorations.
PioNext's dental solution
PioNext has launched its new material with the stated goal of further digitizing dentistry while providing patients with more durable implants. The company's dental 3D printer DJ-89 is the first company in its product portfolio to target the emerging dental crown market, which has been encouraged by the increasing availability of 3D printing in recent years.
Compared with traditional materials, this improved availability allows PioNext to more effectively verify products with enhanced characteristics, accuracy and fit. The resin itself is tooth-colored, ceramic-filled, and specially optimized for 3D printing permanent single crowns, inlays, inlays and veneers.
Although this low-cost material is sold to dental companies, many of its characteristics, such as high strength and low water absorption, are designed for patients. Similarly, PioNext claims that the smooth surface of this resin reduces the tendency of implants to age while preventing them from discoloring.
